ANIMAL HEALTH AND HUMAN HEALTH ARE IRREVOCABLY INTERTWINED

FVI, LLC released a report today, Compressor Station Risks to Animals, demanding the revocation of the air permit for the proposed compressor station in the Fore River Basin. This proposal promises to increase the burden of industrial pollution on an already overburdened population and recklessly disregards the lives and welfare of people, their pets and service animals, and wildlife. For these reasons, it is our responsibility to unequivocally oppose the compressor station at this site, and we urge the revocation of the air permit. Every measure must be taken to stop this irresponsible methane gas compressor station from going into the Fore River Basin.

We consider for consultation requests or referrals from: law enforcement in cases suspected of criminal abuse; animal control officers in cases of unknown cause of harm or death; veterinarians seeking second opinions; and attorneys who have accepted cases for potential civil litigation.

Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to accept the volume of case inquiries that come in from individuals. Your local veterinarian or veterinary school department of pathology should be able to assist in many cases and your local humane society, animal welfare organization or animal control officer may be able to make a referral to an appropriate resource.
